An Individualized Approach to Reading!
Our Approach
Teach Me, teaches differently… and our students learn in extraordinary ways. Not everyone learns the same and we understand, support and celebrate learning differences. Our students achieve extraordinary things when we engaged them, capitalize on their strengths and introduce them to their potential. Our innovative, evidence-based approach to teaching reading has put us at the forefront of making a huge impact for students with learning differences, including Autism, dyslexia, ADHD & other related language-based differences. To guide intervention, we focus on three essentials:
Evidence-based
Using the Science of Applied Behavior Analysis we structure each session’s pace according to each student’s motivation and focus. We also determine progress through data that is observable & measurable. We love graphing progress!
Individualized
Direct Instruction, Precision Teaching & a Multi-Sensory Approach are all technologies used to create each student’s unique program which is delivered in a RATIO of 1:1.
Self-Confidence
Learning is important but just as important is transforming each student’s mindset from “I can’t” to “I think I can” to “I know I will.”
Mindset is Everything
As our students blossom with reading skills, we also take this opportunity to cultivate self-confidence. Our students learn that challenges with reading have nothing to do with intelligence and everything to do with thinking differently. Our brains are complex and thinking differently is what has precipitated the success of many innovative people throughout history. Can you imagine a world without the brains of Leonardo Da Vinci, Albert Einstein or Steve Jobs? These were all innovators who’s learning differences & thinking differently lead to impacting the world in extraordinary ways. So each one of the students we meet have been gifted with learning differently and we are so excited to see how their brains will make an impact.
We Teach Differently
We make learning fun, individualized and goal focused. Its not just about gaining a skill set. It’s about preparing your child to become a self-confident reader.
Did You Know?
Dyslexia is the most common language-based learning disability, and is believed to affect 1 in 5 individuals. Children with dyslexia can have problems with certain language processing skills, reading in particular. Students also experience difficulties in other areas, such as spelling, pronunciation and writing skills. This can make it hard to succeed in a typical academic environment. Teach Me Reading allows children to thrive in a naturalistic environment.

Our Story
“You can teach a lesson for a day; but if you teach someone how to learn, they will continue to learn long after teaching.” Regina Crone BCBA-D, PhD., Our Founder
The inspiration for the Teach Me Reading Program started when my son was diagnosed with Dyslexia. Fear, stress and uncertainty all ran through my mind as we continued down the long road of learning to read differently. Professionally I started working with learning differences in 1998, and have since built a career as Behavior Analyst with a background in Special Education so I knew intervention quickly was imperative to his success, but from one program to another, there was no perfect fit. I wanted it all: an intensive, individualized program that closed his gap in reading, built his confidence and at the same time he enjoyed. So I decided to create an individualized reading program for my son, with oversight by a colleague & reading specialist from Canada. Fast forward a few months and my son’s progress inspired several other students to start programs and since then we have been impacting the world of reading!
